Expired: The Stage
The Stage
The northeast exit leads out into the white void, showing the world at its most incomplete. In the blankness sits a large thrust stage, extending past the arch to be surrounded by the audience on three sides-- were there an audience, that is. The red and gold marbled stage is grand and gorgeous, but there are no seats to watch it from. Large flat panel televisions are set around the stage to project better views of the hypothetical action on stage, though currently they only show static, getting no reception. The only hint as to the stage’s intended function currently is the the trapeze hanging down from the steel structures above, indicating it might be for a circus.
If you walk around the back of the stage, you’ll find a huge towering door, with complicated carvings in the cedar wood. The gate is locked, and apparently unopenable.
Of note:
ATTRACTIONS:
Trapeze: A simple trapeze hangs from the steel structures around the stage perimeter, hinting that perhaps the stage is intended for a circus.
Piano: A large grand piano sits in the center of the proscenium stage, set back from the thrust. Atop it is a vase of statice flowers.
Ferris Wheel: Medium-sized, and a good fifty years old but its been kept in good condition. A good thing, too. While other Ferris Wheels provide heights and an arial view, the gondolas on this one descend beneath the stage, into the darkness. This ride is a good place to get some privacy, if nothing else. . .
Medical Supples:
Medical supplies have been moved down from the tower to the stage for easier access. A small assortment of basic surgical tools are here, as well as bandages, disinfectant, and the useful stock of the old-fashioned pharmacy, leaves and natural agents that can be used by someone knowledgeable to help with headaches, burns, and other ailments of the like.
Displaced Cafe Table:
A table and two chairs from the cafe have been taken from there and set up at the stage.
???:
Regrets: If you wander to the stage in the hour past midnight, eerie blond haired and blue eyed girls in nice dresses can be found there. They can be heard saying, “Give me back my name. . . “, trying to lure people in to suck out their happiness, like young girl shaped dementors of HP fame.
